Crispy Tofu

Tofu easily soaks up the flavor of everything around it and this crispy version is a tad spicy and really flavorful. This quick recipe has just a few ingredients that you likely already have, takes very little time to prepare, and can cook while you prepare the rest of dinner, or, let’s be honest, chase the kids around. I like to serve alongside pasta and veggies (my fave kind of meal).

Tofu is made from soybeans, has zero saturated fat, zero cholesterol and is a complete plant protein (meaning it contains ALL essential amino acids). Hope you enjoy this one!

Ingredients

  • Extra-firm tofu

  • Ketchup

  • Cayenne

  • Soy sauce

  • Ginger powder

  • Turmeric

  • Almond flour

  • Pinch of salt

Pre-heat oven to 375’.

Press the water from the tofu (the more you get out the more flavorful it will be).

Cube the tofu.

Mix the seasonings + sauces together in a bowl. Toss tofu and coat.

Coat seasoned tofu cubes with almond flour on all sides.

Bake for 35-minutes.

*I did not add measurements so you can season according to your preferences and serving sizes.
