How to maintain a healthy relationship with self

Written by Lindsey Kaszuba

One of the best ways to maintain a healthy relationship with food, movement, and to self is to truly learn to trust yourself, entirely and completely.

Want to learn how to trust yourself with food, movement, and overall health?

Take a few minutes to get settled in a quiet space, take a few deep inhales and long slow exhales, and then reflect on the below questions. Write down anything that comes up so you can see any patterns.

Writing can be a very powerful tool for recognizing limiting beliefs and old patterns that no longer serve you. It also helps pull out any fear-based thoughts so they don’t get stuck in your body (yes, that’s a thing!).

Write down one area of your health you don’t fully trust yourself in.

What is one small shift you can make to better listen to your body and ultimately trust yourself in this area?

Think of the person you dream of being. What is that person doing? How does that person feel?

Write one way you can start to embody this person NOW.

This practice can be extremely eye-opening but it can also create more fear-based thoughts. Your focus goes where energy flows.

If you put energy and thought into your fear-based thoughts like “I can’t do it” or “I don’t have the time” then you can be certain that is true. But if you put your energy and thought into “I can do this” or “I’ll prioritize what makes me feel good” then you will absolutely do just that.

It’s already in your DNA to embody a high level of trust within yourself- you just need to believe it and commit.

Feel free to let me know how I can support you in moving through these blocks. Having a support system can fast-track your results! Which is exactly why I have my own coach 😉
