Affirmations to create positive change

Written by Lindsey Kaszuba

Simplifying your thoughts is the first step toward improving your health. Every change you want to make in your life will start with a thought. The cycle goes like this: thought → feeling → action → habit → future.

If you have been saying things like "I'm ready to eat healthier," "I want to move my body more," or "I want to feel better," then your thoughts are telling you that the time has come. It's up to you to take action. It’s when we let the fearful side of our mind get in the way that the excuses come rolling in; those sound like “I’ll do it later”, “I don’t have time”, or “It’s too hard.”

These short affirmations can help you believe that you are deserving of the change you want. Repeat them as much as you'd like.

All is well in my world.

It's only a thought and a thought can be changed.

Every thought we think is creating our future.

I am in the process of positive change.

As I say yes to life, life says yes to me.

I trust the process of life.

I am willing to let go.

My happy thoughts help create my healthy body.

I am beautiful, healthy, whole, and complete.

Start noticing when your mind goes down the fearful path. When you are able to notice and bring awareness to those thoughts you can start to re-train your brain to think more positively and connect your mind to your body.

Once you do this, there are many tools to reframe your thinking mind so that you can focus on creating healthy habits that are realistic and sustainable.

We’re all about creating habits that actually last around here because our daily habits compound to become our future. So who do you want to be in a year?

If it’s not the version of you that’s reading this today and you’re ready to feel strong, healthy, mindful, and with a vibrational energy that is untouchable then it’s time to take action.

That action can be anything that will move you forward in your goals. Perhaps it’s grabbing a salad for lunch, or going for a walk tonight, or reaching out and exploring what working with me is like. It’s your life and it’s entirely up to you. Isn’t that empowering?!
